Eres Diosa celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with singer/songwriter Sessi: photoshoot & interview powered by Puma

We sat with the incredibly talented singer / songwriter SÈSSI and connected with her roots. We heard someone refer to her as SÈSSI "la bomba" and she definitely lives out this name to the fullest, she is literally the BOMB. Experience her vibe,  talent and so much sass through our photo session and interview with her.

Bronx native Sessi embraces her inner diosa every day by connecting with her Hispanic heritage through music. Her father, a music producer hailing from Puerto Rico, and her mother, an event producer from Cuba, raised her in an environment enveloped in creativity, ultimately setting the stage for the rest of her life. From the age of 5, Sessi found inspiration in performing and singing and was instilled with the confidence to pursue her passions long term. Fast forward to adulthood and her hit single “2C” has reached one million streams. As Sessi looks back in gratitude, she proudly praises her Latin roots and upbringing as a first generation American. At the forefront of her mind is one particular fond memory from her childhood – on a mundane Saturday morning, her mother woke her up to help clean the house and asked her to sing the first song that came to mind. The tune she chose? None other than “Aguanile” by Marc Anthony. She plans on passing on the confidence and Latin pride that her family planted in her to generations ahead, and with new music coming soon, her appreciation for her Hispanic culture is only going to continue diffusing through her sound, message and creative pursuits.
